A Note from LSUS Outreach Coordinator

I have been working with Lake Shore Unitarian for a year now. Over the past 12 months I have been working with the board to get new visitors through our doors. Attracting new faces to LSUS is of the utmost importance to me right now. With strong leadership, direction, and amazing support from the LSUS board and members, I’m on a mission to help spread the word about LSUS. But I can’t do it alone. This is going to have to be a team effort in order for us to grow.

Since I started, I have been constantly impressed by the dedication of LSUS members who continuously step up to volunteer and help make the organization what it is, from lay leading and donating refreshments to organizing events and helping out with the RE program. It’s been a great privilege to watch the community come together over the past year to rally together and help grow the organization. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this exciting time at LSUS!

Working together, we have started making progress. Working together, we’re building up momentum and starting to see a difference. But we’re not there yet. If you have been planning on getting more involved at LSUS and are waiting for the right time to do so, now is the time. When we were presented with the special opportunity to be a sponsor of the Winnetka Children’s Fair this year at no cost, we were all a little hesitant to get involved. It's a great opportunity to grow awareness about LSUS in the Winnetka Community.

But can we get 20 people to volunteer?

We’re close. Right now, we are just one volunteer short! Just one! We still need one volunteer to help represent Lake Shore Unitarian Society on Saturday, June 7 from 9:45am-12:15pm.

Are you available to join me, along with over a dozen LSUS members, this weekend?

Please email if you can lend a helping hand!

Your help could make all the difference.
