Who remembers the WWJD bracelets? The acronym, which stands for "What would Jesus do?", became popular in the 90's among evangelical Christians who
needed a reminder on themselves at all times that it's not cool to be a jerk used the phrase as a reminder of their moral imperative to act in a manner that would be in accordance with the way Jesus lived.
On Sunday, September 21st we're asking, "WWAD" or "What would Abe Do?".
How would Abraham Lincoln respond to some of the biggest challenges we face today? How would he handle the current situation in Ferguson, Missouri and other social justice issues in our communities?
If Honest Abe lived today, what's one question you would ask him? Tell us in the comments below or join the conversation on our Facebook page.
And save the date for Sunday, September 21st at 10:30am as we welcome guest speaker and author, Dr. Gene Greissman to the Winnekta Community House for another open-minded debate and conversation.
